Sunday 28th August 2016
Supporting the BBC Children in Need Appeal 2016 and local charities, the Little Gransden Air & Car Show will include over four hours of vintage and aerobatic flying displays, a vintage, veteran and classic vehicle rally plus numerous other attractions. We have been running our show since 1992 and have raised over £242,000 for charity over the years.
2016’s air display will run from approximately 13:00 to 17:15 with a break for a brief memorial service. 2016’s display line-up is now being put together – so watch this space!
As well as the aerial side of the event, the Little Gransden Airshow includes strong participation from various vehicle clubs and private vehicle owners who bring along their rare, vintage or classic cars, lorries, tractors, PSVs and motorcycles.
Previous years’ participation has included impressive display from the MG owners club, MX5 owners, BMW owners, the TR Register, BSA enthusiasts and hundreds of further vehicles of other kinds from steam through to current super cars as well as some of the best vintage military vehicle displays seen in the area.
Each year we have a craft fair, housed entirely indoors in one of the large hangars, kindly vacated by Yak UK and private owners for our use during the event. Stalls include those selling children’s knitwear, pottery, jewellery and brooches, tapestry, painted gifts, cards, hand-made toys, quilt & needle-work, liquorice and sweets, plants, bird tables, nest boxes, and regular supporters of the event Diecast Model Aircraft, the Lincolnshire Lancaster Association and Phoenix Trading.
Thank you all for your continued support and we hope to see you again for the next show!
