‘Very good cottage in excellent condition. Very helpful owners, who helped us out with bread and eggs when we ran out and could not get to the supermarket. They also gave us some of their homemade orange marmalade. We were lucky enough to watch some aerobatic displays. A charming place, which is quite and has pleasant country walks around the fields with lots of blackberrys in the hedges.’

‘We had two cottages The Old Dairy & The Tack Room. The Old Dairy couldn’t have been more appropriate for this visit with aircraft engine for a coffee table, propeller on the wall etc. My husband thought this a lovely touch. Both cottages were lovely and clean with large comfortable ted and crisp white linen. Both were well equipped with extra little touches like complimentary fresh coffee-pods, biscuits on arrival, toiletries and for a small donation if wished, a pot of marmalade and chocolate.
