Pond Life at Fuller’s Hill Cottages

The pond at Fuller’s Hill Cottages, Little Gransden, is situated between the airfield and the apartments and is a growing natural habitat that is nurtured by both Mark and Cathy. A small group of baby Gold Finches are nesting in a bush close to the pond as can be seen in the photo.  The RSPB says “The chaffinch is the UK’s second commonest breeding bird, and is arguably the most colourful of the UK’s finches.
