Reviews
‘The cabin is definitely cozy & we love the lights. Just nice for my family of 4. We had a great stay in The Lodge. The host, Mark, was very responsive indeed to our queries & needs even though he’s not around. Other than the WiFi weak signal, the rest was superb! Highly recommended.’

‘The size of the cottage is larger than any studio that I’ve stayed in, and bright. I liked the LED lighting, which allows you to balance the color of the light to correspond to the lighting outdoors (perfect for an English gray day), which gives the place the impression of being illuminated by skylights. It’s well insulated, with no drafts – very good design and execution.’ January 2022
‘Lovely place, very clean and everything you need. Mark the host was really helpful with everything we needed or requested.’ Alex, December 2021
‘Spotlessly clean. Our small dog enjoyed having open space right outside our door. The hot water is very hot, which is nice. Thank you for adding a touch of Christmas decorations: i.e. enough, but not too much. The listing undersells the facilities: there were three of us, and we all had beds because one of the singles was pulled out into a double (i.e. we didn’t use the sofa bed as a double); being adjacent to a grass airfield, we had an impromptu aerobatics demonstration by a small blue plane. The only thing I didn’t like isn’t Mark’s fault: it took me ages to figure out how to turn the LED lights off. I wouldn’t call the controls “intuitive”! Nev, December 2021
‘Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Country location but shop and takeaway close by. Very relaxing stay, dogs welcome.’ Liz, October 2021
‘Cute wooden lodge, great value for money perfect for a couples get away.’ Chris, August 2021
‘A beautiful place in the countryside, you will need to take hangers as none provided & no wardrobes so you need to hang clothes from the window ledges.’ Catherine, July 2021
‘Wow, what more can I say other than what a perfect stay. Hosts were amazing, views are breathtaking, lodge was super cute. Highly recommended!’ Simon, April 2021
