John Wins 1st Prize For His Marmalade & Barley!

First Prize Our very own John Jefferies has just won First Prize for his infamous and delicious Organic Serville Orange Marmalade at this year’s Great Gransden Agricultural Show! You can have a taste yourself by making a donation towards our local RSPB for a small jar when you come and stay here at Fuller’s Hill Cottages.

We are all going to very much enjoy tomorrow morning’s toast!

John also won Fist Prize for his Barley, Second Prize for both his Milling Wheat and Biscuit Wheat, and Third Prize for both another type of Milling Wheat and for his Beans.

Congratulations John!

Also at the show was our very good friend Ally Ginn who exhibited her fine collection of homemade wildlife and local scene prints.

You can see some of her delightful artwork on her website here:

Frank Boddy, our very own Private Chef from Wild In The Pantry was also at the show performing fantastic cooking demonstrations and giving us all some very tasty samples.

You can book Frank to cook you a private romantic dinner for two, or a Spanish Tapas for your Hen Party, a team building cookery workshop or even drinks and canapés with waiting staff for your special family reunion here at Fuller’s Hill Cottages.
